How much does a consultation cost?

A consultation with a dermatologist costs $150. A credit card number and expiry date is required to hold your appointment. Your credit card will not be charged until the day of the consultation.

Do I need to have a consultation in order to have a treatment?

Most patients benefit from a consultation with our dermatologists or clinicians to create a treatment plan that addresses your concerns. Your plan will provide you with the recommendations and tools to optimize your results and ensure you are delighted with the outcome.

I saw your cosmetic dermatologist a while ago. Do I need another consultation?

If a lapse of visits greater than 12 months has occurred, our dermatologists will require a consultation in order to re-evaluate your current health status and treatment plan.

What is the main intersection that Pacific Derm is located at?

Hemlock Street and West 8th Avenue.

Where should I park?

Parking is available in three nearby lots: Impark at 1434 W. 8th, WestPark at 1495 W. 8th (entrance off 7th near alley), and WestPark at 1333 West Broadway (entrance off Birch near W. 8th) – please click here to view a map of the locations. There is ample metered street parking nearby, but please be aware of parking restrictions.

How much does parking cost?

The parking lots are $2.75 per hour with a maximum of $11.00 for the day for Impark and WestPark Lot 043, and $2.00 per hour with a maximum of $11.00 for the day for WestPark Lot 016. Street parking is also $1 to $3 per hour depending on the location.

What Skytrain station is closest to you?

The closest station is Broadway–City Hall along the Canada Line, which is located at Broadway and Cambie streets. Once you emerge from the station, take either the west-bound Broadway 9 or 99 B-Line buses and disembark at Hemlock Street (if you take the Broadway 9) or Broadway & Granville (if you take the 99 B-Line).

Do you offer financing to pay for treatments?

A Private Health Services Plan (PHSP) is as an alternative to financing. Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) allows business owners to 100% tax deduct medical and dental expenses through a PHSP.
