We are excited to announce that a new board-certified dermatologist, Dr. Marcie Ulmer, has joined Dr. Rivers and the skin care team at Pacific Dermaesthetics. If you’ve visited our office in the past month, you may have already met Dr. Ulmer—she has been treating patients and getting up to speed on our clinic’s specific technologies.
As a dermatologist, Dr. Ulmer has training and experience in medical dermatology, dermatologic surgery and cosmetic dermatology. She is also accomplished in skin rejuvenation techniques involving lasers, dermal fillers, Botox® Cosmetic and Xeomin.
Dr. Ulmer has been involved in clinical research, and will continue this work at Pacific Dermaesthetics. She is also a clinical instructor in the Department of Dermatology and Skin Science at UBC.
Dr. Ulmer is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and a diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology. Her other professional memberships include the Canadian Dermatology Association, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, BC Medical Association and Canadian Medical Association.
