Dr. Rivers Weighs in on Molescope Device

In a recent article in the Vancouver Sun, Dr. Rivers offers his opinion of the Molescope, developed by the Vancouver-based company MetaOptima.

The device made its public debut at the World Congress of Dermatology in Vancouver earlier this month, and around 11,000 dermatologists and other skin experts were able to try it out.

During the development of the Molescope, Dr. Rivers was invited to sit on the Advisory Board along with other local dermatologists, scientists and business advisors. Dr. Rivers used a prototype of the device for a period of time before the launch, and was impressed with the images and utility.

“For patients who are at a higher risk of skin cancer, it makes sense to monitor them this way, and it seems to be user-friendly,” noted Dr. Rivers in the Vancouver Sun article.
