Both Dr. Rivers and Dr. Ulmer volunteered once again at this year’s Skin Cancer Screening organized by the Canadian Dermatology Foundation. As part of the Sun Awareness Program, dermatologists from across Canada participate in their communities at free clinics, to check for skin cancer and promote the benefits of sun protection.
This year the Vancouver skin cancer screening was held on July 18th at the Aquatic Centre in the West End. Drs. Ulmer and Rivers worked alongside several UBC Dermatology residents.
